Is it a car? Is it a spaceship? No, it’s a HOUSE – and the sci fi Beijing flat will be finished by 2015
It might look like a UFO, or even the head of a robotic dog, but in fact this is the latest in hi-tech urban living.
The bizarre structure will be stuck to the side of a building in Beijing and move on a hydraulic arm – inside will be a family home and creative studio costing $2 million.
Attached to the side of a former industrial building, the hydraulic arm is designed to cushion against the effects of Beijing’s frequent earthquakes.
It can also move the flat around to transform the view for the family inside.
